- Competitive Compensation
Medtronic's objective is to competitively reward employee performance and development. The market value of jobs in relevant labor markets determines the overall pay parameters; an individual's actual total compensation is determined by their contributions and development.
- 401(k) plan with company match
Employees are eligible to enroll immediately. Employees can contribute up to 75% of their eligible pre-tax income to their plan and Medtronic will match $.50 – $1.50 for every dollar employees contribute up to the first 6% of pay. The match is made in cash and is based on company performance.
- Medtronic Retirement Plan
There is no employee contribution to this plan and all regular employees are automatically enrolled in the plan after one year of service.
- ESPP (Employee Stock Purchase Plan)
Employees can contribute up to 10% of their eligible after tax income to purchase Medtronic stock at 85% of the market value as of the end of the quarter.
