How You Can Help
You can help make a difference in your own community.
Learn CPR and AED Training
Educate yourself and save a life. Sign up for a CPR/AED class, which typically is four hours long. To find a course near you, contact any of the local offices for the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, National Safety Council, or the American Safety and Health Institution.
Ask Questions
Get involved in the safety of your own community. Call your local police and fire departments to find out if they carry AEDs on emergency response vehicles. Contact your city and county governments to see if AEDs are available in public places such as city halls, recreation facilities, courthouses, sports stadiums, and schools.
