CPR and Defibrillation Protocols

Based on clinical evidence, the AHA 2005 Guidelines drastically changes protocols for defibrillation and CPR: replacing "stacked" shocks with a single shock, delivering CPR while a device is charging, removing prompts for pulse checks and more. [1] All of these changes are based on clinical evidence that increasing the amount of CPR time leads to better patient outcomes.

Challenges

  • How will you implement these new guidelines?
  • Do you have defibrillators that can be programmed or updated to support them?

Meeting the Challenges

Our cprMAX™ technology supports current cardiac resuscitation guidelines and allows you to maximize CPR time. Our professional trainers can also provide classroom-style implementation training to qualifying hospitals.
