Internet Connection Test portion of installation fails

While the software is installing on the PC, it needs to test that there is an Internet connection. A message like below will appear:

Internet connection test

If you cannot get past this, please confirm that you can poll one of the following internet sites:

The software is designed to poll one of the above sites to confirm that an Internet connection is available. If the software comes back and states it cannot find the internet, contact your network folks to ensure that the proxy server you are going through can poll one of the above sites.

The software is testing the internet connection for the report that is generated at the end of updating a LIFEPAK AED. The report that the software generates is sent to Medtronic ERS — going to https://www.lifenetexchange.com, (port 433). This will inform Medtronic ERS of the devices that have been updated to the 2005 AHA Guidelines.
