Sudden Cardiac Arrest Strikes at Medtronic
On July 18, 2006, the engineering team at Medtronic ERS was going about their work like any other day. But it was soon a day never to be forgotten. Dean Cowles was at his desk where he works to ensure the quality of Medtronic defibrillators. Dean was suffering a heart attack which led to sudden cardiac arrest.
